good mornin!... (yaWn!)... am out of it this morn! ..need more coffy! .heh!

had a pretty good weekend... took it easy and mostly cleaned the house... hung out with the kitties... they missed me being away to LALAland and i missed them as well.. went out to see RENT with my boss bard, his friend and franke...mann! what a play..! .. cried and cried! .. it wHas emotionally exhausting... very good!... and there wHas a character named "anGel" that wHas kinda like ours.. in a wHay..! .. heh! .. except ours isn't a drag queen..heh! .. at least i don't think... (or is he?..heh!... anything you want to tell us anGel?).. anyhew.. it wHas great! .. would love to see it again... got so wrapped up in the characters.. i really identified with "mark" .. the guy with the camera.. filming the whole play.. there wHas a couple of lines that really got to me.. one of them mark wHas explaining about his film work...about not being in the film.. an outsider "im there... nowhere" .. he said.. mann...can i relate... when i am filming... you don't get to see me much.. (except for my webcam!heh!)... but im there.. another moment wHas wHen mark and roger were fighting and roger yelled at him that mark hides in his work.. wowo! .. i NEVER do that!..;> smirk!..

so other than the play..it wHas a mellow weekend... hung out with franke a bit .. but he wHas busy with a project he's working on... nothing really new or exciting happening..with us... showed him my video of LALAland and he seemed to enjoy it.. never can quite tell if i wHas really boring him or not...! ..heh! ..

and ... speaking of LA... i guess i should continue on with my little ramblin's... (little!?!)... heh! ..

where did i leave off? .. oh yah... the first day... "crusin" around LA.. checking out the scene.. it had been 6-7 years since i had been there... and it wHas exciting to see my old haunts... i forgot to write that going by "peanuts" in W. Hollywood reminded me of high school graduation as well. i had ditched it so that i could go clubbing at peanuts instead! ..heh! ..mann.. people were pissed..heh! .. the young adventures of "michael-dane"...

anyhew... once we were done walking around the shops at rodeo driVe...we drove back to the hotel and got a taste of LA traffic at around 5pm... yuc!.. "nobody's walking..walking..walking..."(missing persons).

mad it back to the great Wilshire Grand...and got a quick shower before i wHas to meet the "babe" (as everybody knows him by now!.heh!).. actually his name is bruce and someone i had been talking to via email for quite awhile... kinda bonded in many whays trough our emails... he works for "Imagineering"... the disneyland studio where they create all the real cool features and new technology for the parks and movies... i myself am a d-land kid... mom always took me there every year... usually around thanksgiving.. (mom doesn't like turkey...and like her son.. ditches out on events to have funn! heh!) ... also bruce and i had something in common lately with our boyfriends... (if you read back a few rambles around st. patricks day..you will get a clue)... we were send email "hugs" .. and so it wHas appropriate to get together and take it to reality... just like the "guys" did recently in chicago.. (i have to get those pixs scanned and up !!!...they are great!)

we met up at the hotel's bar... i wHas nervous to meet ... had seen pix of him...and honestly thought he looked a little like tom cruise... very cute.. and very sweet in his emails.. loves his doggs.. had a cool job... he sounded very yummy...

and yah... he wHas everything that i thought... wHen i first saw him .. sitting at the bar.. my mind went.. "ALRIGHT!"...heh! .. we hugged... and i sat down and we had a couple of drinks... wHas soooooo nice to be able to finally sit down with him and talk in real time... he had such a nice voice...and a very good story teller... i could have listened to him there all night sippin' drinks.. watching his cute lipps move with his stories...

all of a sudden the waitress came over... "a man at the bar wanted me to give you this note" ... it wHas a cocktail napkin... at first i thought it wHas from my boss or something...but wHen i looked at it... it wHas a note from "KANAN"... !!!... he wHas sitting at the bar!... he had come all the wHay over here to see if he could spot me! ..wowo! .. i felt the total LA experience! .. i was recognized!.. i went over and said "hey"... he seemed a little nervous... we hugged and wanted to wash all that away...we talked a bit... how he had been at my site for quite awhile... he's a regular in the chatroom and that night he decided he would chance it and try and find me...wished i had a REX shirt to give to him at that point.. KANAN seemed very nice.. we didnt talk to long.. (bruce wHas waiting at the other table!)... but wished that we could have had a beer together and talked a little more... whas great meeting him... !!!. and when i come back to LA .. hope to meet up with him and talk a little more.. he gave me his address and phone... so im set... !..

coming back to bruce..(wowo! ..i wHas swingin' around two guys at once! ..and i had only been in LA less than a day!..hah!)... bruce had laughed and kidded me about being spotted.. i wHas glowing..heh! ..

we jammed outta the bar and drove over to his place in handcock!... (i wish!).. naw.. actually it's a name of a neighborhood outside of beverly hills i believe.. he showed me his house and met his cute doggs... he has a great house! .. spanish style 1920's.. he's totally fixed it up ... the walls are all textured with different blends of colour... he had one of the artists do it from d-land.. wowo! .. very cool! .. he had a great backyard.. with bamboo... and it made me want to have a house of my own... he wHas motivating me... his doggs were the best! .. epsilon would totally be in heaven! .. she's loves doggs.. ! .. big ones.. guess it's her doggy fetish! .. she used to have a doberman as a boyfriend a few years ago.. she wont let go..heh! .. but brought her home some pix of them... i took some digital shots of bruce and his pups.. (yum!... could have taken his pix all night! ;> )an then got a shot of me with the pupps. too..........such cool pups.. wished we had more time so that we could have played... i love doggs too.. wished i had one.. but living in sf with no backyard and traveling back and forth..i think it would be unfair... bruce had a perfect set up for them...and for a moment i wished i wHas one of his pets! ..heh! ..

we took off from there and decided we better get something to eat.. he brought me to a really cool french- american cafe... can't remember the name!..damn.. but it wHas right across the street from the famous "scientologist" church that all the stars hang out.. john travolta..etc...

food and atmosphere wHas great... what wHas even better wHas being able to hang out with bruce and talk.. wHas very easy to talk with him... we had so much going on... and seemed like we could have talked forever... we talked about our life... relationships... some dreams... yah.. it wHas all very good... enjoyed it very much! .. and again.. i got to watch those lovely lipps move.. (heh!)..

from there we moved on for a night tour of "imagineering"... (EXCITED!!!!)... I guess this place wHas kinda top secret for many years.. walt didnt want anybody to know where they came up with some of their very cool features... kinda like charlie and the chocolate factory... recently they have gone public.. letting people know that they exist.. things are getting more competitive bruce said.. we arrived and i wHas given a badge and we entered.. wowo! .. what a place.. i can't even start to explain all of what i saw or even how big the place wHas! .. it had many warehouses stretched out with different things being developed in them... i wHas wHay excited... felt like a little kid.. love seeing the development or the behind the scenes of something i love.. d-land!... and i wHas seeing it's future! .. what a trip! .. can't really tell you about what i saw... most of it is top secret..and don't want to spoil walt's surprises.. but wHas very impressed! .. and excited about their involvement in techonlogy .. especially the internet.. hmmm... why would i be excited about that i wonder? ..heh! ..

bruce wHas very passionate about showing me around... he wHas like a little kid...! .. looked so cute with his passion for his work and what they are developing there... wanted to kiss him a couple times... there's just something about a dude that gets so into his work... with a passion.. like a kid..that is into what they are doing... yah know? .. it's just damn seXy.. and i love seeing that in people...

could have spent all night there.. exploring.. and we spent alot of time doing that .. but i had been up since 4:30am that morning... walked all around LA and wHas feeling like i had cotton in my head... my feet were killing me! ..heh! .. so we finally drove back to my hotel.. where he dropped me off... we hugged again and said goodbye... i invited him to visit san francisco whenever he wanted... so maybe you will see him on the cam someday... it wHas an incredible night.. the first night in LA.. and i wHas loving it...

bruce also inspired me... motivated me... his life seemed very interesting...and he pushed for things ... wHas very passionate about his work and his life.. so refreshing.. and so .. not wHat i expected in LA.. heh! .. guess i should ease up a bit on the place.. so far i wHas having a blast there...

i slept so well that night! .. except that i woke up with huge cramp in my legg and kinda screamed in the middle of the night.. wakining and probably scaring the shit outta tony!.. (we were sharing a room).. "are you alright reX.?".. i have to laugh... it was funny..

anyhew.. that's my first night in LALAland... whas a great night to top off a great day.. and it only got better... wished i had more time to spend with KANAN and bruce.. but there is always next time...

coming next... the dinner with the MTV's real world : jason (i got something to tell you!) and road rule's : abe (what a sweetie!)... until tomorrow....
