WHEW! ..wHatta week! .. i tell yah! .. survived another one.. seemed like only yesterday it wHas monday.. this week went by really fast.. but all the weeks seem too.. i think the more busy you get and the more you want to get done .. the faster time flys.. it just works that wHay i guess.. makes sense to me.. i better slow down.. don't want to get any older! ..heh! ..

so.. you all have been wHay cool ..hangin' out here.. waiting for the final story of my LALA trip.. loved getting email from folks telling me that they went and checked out QuickTime.. made me feel whay good to know that somebody got some use outta that last ramble... and you gotta realize.. it's ONLY the beta! ..just wait folks! ..

am on the train now.. coming home from work.. went to a beer bash.. and the one beer i had is startin' to wear off.. i will have to fix that as soon as i get home.. i hope to find something funn to do tonight.. don't want to sit around .. but don't know if i have the energy.. plus..im teaching tomorrow ..an all day class from 10-5.. uggggh! .. heh! .. will bring along the cam so you can go through it with me..heh! ..

well i wHas all worried wHen i found out we wHere goin' to a fancy restaurant before we left for LA to have dinner with the guys from MTV's road rules and real world.. i mean. im from sf.. we dont really dress up to go out to dinner or restaurants.. well some of em' you do.. but i don't really hang there.. and if i did i wouldnt give a shit! ..i would wear my old sneaks.. think you can get away with it more here in the northen part of CAlifornia.. heh! .. but in LA .. it's all image baBy. ! .. they sell imaGe.. yup! .. when i hung out there as a young freaK it wHas all about looks.. what you wore.. who you hung out with.. etc.. heh! ..

so i wHas worried.. what should i wear to my dinner out? .. I even had franke ask his friend chris who lives in LA what i should wear..... "it's LA .."..he said.. "you wear black out after six".. heh! .. good answer.. guess. things hadn't changed much from wHen i hung out there in the 80's as a freak.. except..i don't thing goth gear would cut it.. heh! .. i managed to find a nice tight black shirt.. love it..cause is shows my rings.. blush! .. i decided to wear a tan kaki pants.. to hell with it.. cause i needed to be a 'LITTLE' different..heh! .. but what the hell wHas i gonna do about shoes..? ..yeeeeks.. all i had wHas teenies.. and combat boots.. ! .. so i went out to Hayes street the weekend before and found a really nice pair of italian leather dress shoes.. casual wear.. so i could dress up or wear them with normal clothes too.. wasnt gonna spend 200 bucks on somthing i would never wear.. (ouch!)..

So i wHas all set..at least with the clothes i wHas going to wear to dinner.. My teamate Tony and i got dress and had fun... one of the funnest parts of going out is getting ready.. love that.. Tony and i critiqued each other .. and i miss that.. franke wont' tell me if i look good in something or not.. he doesn't want to be responsible for wHat i wear.. and i think it's a cop out.. really.. i mean.. ive always had friends where we all get together before we go out and sortta help each other get it together.. franke is a strange one.. frustrating in that wHay.. oh well.. i have to rely on my judgement.. but would it be so hard to kinda get into it? ..ugggh! heh! ..

there we were.. tony and i dressed very "LA".. heh! .. my mom woulda loved it.. franke woulda loved it.. actually think he woulda gave me a comment the wHay i wHas dressed that night.. i felt good..

Tony and i met up with Bard.. who looked very slick as well.. three guys.. as slick as hell.. and ready to go! .. BUT.. we had to wait forever for valet parking in the hotel to find our car.. they lost it..yeeeks! .. i tried to waste a little time and video taped us lookin all smashin' and smoked a couple ciggs ..tryin' to be a glam marlena ditriche..heh! ..

we got there and have to say that the veiw from yoshomero's is GREAT!.. you see all of hollywood down beneath you.. and the city lights were beautiful! ..

we went in and met up with jason from road rules and maggie their agent.. Abe had not arrived yet.. saw jason and yeeeeks! .. he had broWn hair!..hah! .. i laughed inside..cause i thought he had bleached it.. and i tried extra hard to get my hair white before i left so that we could have a pixture moment..heh! .. i guess i would be the only "blonde" in this party tonight! hah! .fine with me.. works for heather locklear! .heh! ..

Abe arrived shortly afterwards in his little yellow new style Bug.. and we all sat down.. whas great to meet them finally.. they seemed like very normal dudes.. surfy.. californian boyes.. they actually DO surf too.. ;>

they seemed very down to earth... normal to me.. didnt seem stuck on themselves or anything.. they actually both had normal jobs to pay rent.. most people think that because they are in the MTV's shows that they live a celebrity life.. well ..they might.. but i know they didnt get rich from it..! . they dont' really get paid that much money for doing the shows.. so they have to use their "time" in the public eye wisely.. i had a million brainstorms in my mind! .. heh! How about starting a webcam jason? .. heh! .. he would rock!.. he does have his own poetry webzine though.. called...noras purge.. you gotta check it out.. and if you go tell em' reX. sent yah.. he wHas looking for someone to help him with his site ..plus hosting and of course i whipped out a REX web design card so fast!!!.. heh! ..would be great to work on his site..

Jason is a real beatnik sorta dude.. you can tell he is a writer.. he reminded me so much of my friend craig .. speaks his mind.. very witty and funny.. he had something to say about anything.. love that .. never a quiet moment.. heh! but not too yacky..

Abe wHas a total sweetheart... ! .. i had heard on the real world show that he wHas sorta a jerk.. but i wHas finding out that maybe wHat you see on reAl world .. wasnt so real..heh! .. they do a lot of taping of these people together and then they are edited to tell a story or to accentuate someones character.. i have to admit i have not watched either of these guys on their shows before.. gulp! .heh! .. but i think it is better that wHay.. i didnt really have any preconceptions of them from the show.. i got to receive a first impression from meeting them.. not from an edited TV show.. that always seems to happen to me.. i end up talking with someone who might be a "somebody" and then not until im done does someone come up to me and say.. that wHas "so and so".. im oblivious.. i think im lucky in that wHay.. and hope that people don't preconcieve me a certain wHay without meeting me first.. that's why i try and be as honest as i can on my cam.. and with these rambles.. sometimes i have been too honest! .heh! yeeeeeks! ..

so yah.. jason wHas a sweetheart.. i think he's 19 or something.. and very CUTE .. oh my yes! .. sitting right across from me at dinner he kept his "kiss me" smiles on all night.. and kept glancing at me with everything people would say.. i think he wHas excited to meet folks from Apple... he is wHay into computers.. had been busted wHen he wHas real young.. for being a hacker.. comes from a big family.. not much money and felt a sorta big brother feeling for him.. of course he coulda been working me.. heh! .. probably wHas.. those LA boys.. gotta watch em'.. ! .. but wHat the hell.. ! heh! ..

very funny cause before we met them i wHas more excited to see jason than i wHas abe.. had heard through the grapevine that he wHas bisexual too.. heh! .. wHen i had wrote that in my rambles before i left i got a shitload of email about it.. yeeeeks.. had i knocked him out of the closet...? .. well i had done my research on him.. had gone to MTV's website wHen we were working on the Web to the Edge contest to get a bio on him and it said right there that he wHas living in san francisco and that he and his boyfriends relationship wHas rocky! .. what does that say to you folks? .. heh! ..

well.. heck.. wHen we went out to smoke a cigg togehter he had said he had a date with a sweet looking stewardess.. (he gave me one of his smokes..sigh!).. so wither he's straight .. gay.. bi.. it doesn't matter.. as my mom says.. "everybody is a little bisexual ... except for me!" ..heh! .. my mom cracks me up...

overall it wHas great meeting them.. they were great guys.. and had such a fun time with their manager as well.. maggie.. she whas very young.. fresh in LA ..and concerned that she wanted to stay "nice".. heh! "i whanna be like rich and powerful and invite the interns in to just shoot the shit with me".. i invited her to visit sf whenever she wanted.. bring the boys!!!!.. heh! .. we will put them in front of the cam! .we will do our very own reX.'s world REAL world.. hah!.. can you imagine? .. ahhhh the ratings.. i would have to get a T-500 line for tHat! ..

it wHas very interesting hearing them talk about their newfound fame.. they are just normal guys... and then all of a sudden they are celebrities... it wHas cool to hear them talk about how the world percieves them.. Real world shows are very much like the webcams.. living their lives in front of other people .. and to be judged and assumptions made about them from people that haven't ever meet them.. i think it's cool..it's a slice of someones life ... my boss Bard did bring up my cam.. but i didnt want to go into it with them.. i kinda wHas diggin' my perception of observing... and hearing their stories... it related to mine in some wHays.. and i wanted to absorb as much as i could from that perspective.. i get like tHat... i love to watch people and sometimes pretend im invisible.. tHat's why i love to film with my camera.. like that line in RENT.. "im there... nowherE.." love it..

As we left.. i did get some pix with my digital cam.. i think tHat i have the first pix of Jason and Abe together..! they had never really hung out.. so tHis might be the first place you see it.. eXcited!.. yah! ..

I do hope tHat they succeed in wHatever path they take.. tHey seem like tHey have so many good opportunities in front of them.. i felt like a big bro..wanting to help tHem make the best of it.. i do hope that Jason does contact me about the web stuff though.. i think he would rock as a online personality.. oh mann! .. i'd be watching him!!!.. heh! ..

noW i promised myself that i would watch the sHow.. see how they were portrayed on the sHow.. and now i can make a clear distinction.. of fact and factictious! ..heh! ..

don't forget.. wHat you see is not alWays wHat is real.. but then.. sometiMes it is! ..
