oh mann! ... just when you think that you have something planned... somethng comes along and changes all that...

A few people yesturday may of seen me getting a bunch of red roses with a "congrat" balloon. I saw that there were a few posts about it today in the message board...

wellll....

I had been interviewing for a new job at Apple Computer for the last couple of weeks and yesturday I got the formal offer for the job!.. along with these wonderful roses!... starting February 1st I am starting as a "marketing specialist" for the Education Division of Apple Inc!... im sooo excited ..i can't tell you how much!...

This means big changes for me... and i have been working like crazy with my other projects to make sure that the transition goes smoothly...

Originally I got an email saying that Apple had gotten an email about a guy who was uploading his life on the web using Apple technology... then they studied my site for awhile before emailing me... I was offered a contract job doing some writing for them...

During the Macworld Expo I met with the Sr. Marketing of Education (Bard) and he asked me... "What is your dream job"... gulp! Then he gave me the discription of the job..... and when i was reading the original offer and discription of the job... I totally felt like it was a perfect fit.

I thought it over and decided it would be best for me to work for Apple and the experience i would get there would be invaluable... I feel like i could do alot for them as well... so I think it's a perfect fit...

So that's all the hub-bub... bud... ! ... very good news and changes for reX.y... a whole new path to wander down...

Does this mean you will see less of reX. in front of his cam? ... actually asked them about having my cam at work and they are behind it... they will help me set up a cam there at work so that i can keep my cam going.. and you can watch me at my new job... funnnn! ...

So now ... there's a little expansion of my cams... one at home.. one at school when i teach and now.. there will be one at work... now if i can only figure out how to implant a video cam in my brain...! ..heh! ..

Went out for dinner last night to celebrate... franke and his friend maricio and i had some wonderful italian pizza last night ... and we drank it down with a bottle of chardoney and toped it off with some grapefruit sorbet (my new fav dessert!)...

I was in a great mood .. so i gave maricio a REX shirt... franke and maricio used to be boyfriends awhile ago...and it was funny to see franke scold him not to take a medium shirt... that he should take a large... and was very motherly..heh! .. maricio took the medium! ..heh! ..

anyhew... great news...huh? .. im wHay excited...

Today I am teaching class again... pubnet 7 .. time-varied media for the web... audio, video, and animation for your webpages... going to happen between 1-5 ...so tune in and maybe learn something!..heh! ...

ahhh my head is in the air ... and im feeling fine! ..
