Well... we made it to yosemite... i know sit in a room full of mac-heads...never have i seen so many powerbooks in one room! ..heh! .. i swear we are going to cause a "black out" here in the mountains... i can read it now... Mac employee's drain electricity in yosemite!...

We arrived late here late ..night before last... and i wHas surprised and disappointed that there was no snow... which means i don't get to be snowballed... awwwww... but hey... that means i stay warmer... ahhh... it's still mighty cold out here... but nothing worse than a cold day in sf.. in summer..hah! .. i stole that from marc twainy...

We have been working alot... cabin fever has set in... but we have accomplished quite a bit.. lots of brainstorming... lot's of planning.. and i have learned quite a bit about the K-12 group... more than i would have at Apple.. so it's all been a great experience for me.. i have been like a sponge... absorbing as much as i can...

I have also started to get to know all the people i work with... and learning their names..yeeeks! .. i am soooo bad with names .. but can remember everybody now... heh !.. great group of people here... very smart .. very funny .. there is nothing like spending 3 days with people to get to know them ... now these people are not just people i work with .. they are people with lifes and families and interests...etc... i think this has been a good experience...

We have been busy brainstorming and planning and haven't spent much time outside yet... although today during our lunch break we explored a little and found a cool waterfall.. it's wHay beautiful out here... i need to come out here again when i have more time ... and leave my powerbook behind..heh! .. (right! .. like i would go anywhere without my powerbook!)...

Tomorrow hopefully we will explore the valley... and end this cabin fever.. i keep thinking of the simpson's episode where homer and mr. burns are trapped in the cabin... snowbound and going craZy...heh! ..

watched monica last night on barbara.... what a trippy gurl! ... i really felt sorry for her.. everything coming out in the public and talking about real private stuff... if she wanted that.. she would have started a monica-cam.! ..heh! .. i feel more sorry for us as a nation though... here we are ... focused on the sex life of the president and his mistress..instead of more important things... ugggg...h!... but there i was like everyone else... watching this aired national equirer...no offence babs... i love you...! ..

(10:56 pm)... much later.. and several glasses of wine... i end the last night stay here... we continued brainstorming...and did some wild conclusions... tonight i felt more close to these people... one gal ... lynne..is a real kick!.. and she's .from washing dc... hmmm .. does sean know her? ..

tried to call franke.. but couldn't reach my puppy... (sad reX.. im in withdrawals... )... tomorrow i will be home again...and the cam will be back up...and hopefully i will be able to make some updates to my site... will play some of the video i taped... tonight i played the tape for the team ...and they loved.. it...

anyhew... i gotta get up in the morn... and cook breakfast... im worried i will poisen someone... but they enjoyed the omelettes the webteam made day before yesterday....

ahhh... im a little tipsy... ready for bed... we didn't get out to the valley...but we will tomma before we leave... hope to get some nice photos and video...

so... goodnight.. and a special kiss to my very missed pupp... and kitties.. missed them so bad! .. there was a kitty here named nola... an orange..kit... that kept me company as i snuck out and had a cigg.. also made friends with a squirrel who modeled for me with the cam..heh! ..
