Right according to Madonna's Official website - the album is provisionally
called "Epiphany" and due for release in Summer 2000 and I understand
that she is working with William Orbit on this album.
Madonna: One is not enough. Madonna is now trying to conceive a
second child, a sibling for young Lourdes, her toddler daughter.
She says that she has not picked a father for the baby yet, but
Lourdes' father, Carlos Leon, is looking like candidate number 1.
Just when you thought you knew everything about Madonna,
including the exact size and placement of her nipples down to the
nearest Angstrom unit, a brand-spanking-new revelation leaps at
you from the pages of the March Jane. Granted, it's probably
something you already suspected, but it's still nice to know: The
ultraclean-living Madonna loves to throw back the booze--not girly,
I-must-retire-to-the-drawing-room-for-a-julep booze--but man booze.
Dirty-glass booze. At last year's New Year's Eve fete, Madonna admits,
"I don't know how many drinks I had. All I know is they kept sloshing
out of the glass, and pretty soon you have 20 half drinks, and then
it was 5 a.m." She woke up the next morning with a hangover she
describes as "um...forceful." But wait, there's more! M apparently
has taken to the British pub scene. "I love taking a walk to a nice
pub [and tossing back] a pint, of course." Her pint of choice? "Guinness."
So, during Madonna's next gratuitous nude scene, be sure to look
for the hair on her chest.

rue for Spice Girls fans Ñ former member Geri Halliwell is reuniting
with her ex-bandmates Ñ but only beandmates Ñ but only because all
five of them are the subject of a lawsuit. All five Spice Girls,
past and present (Victoria Adams, Emma Bunton, Melanie Chisholm,
Melanie Gulzar, and Geri Halliwell), are being sued by the Italian
scooter company Aprilia SpA, which claims that a sponsorship deal
went bad when Halliwell left the band in May 1998. The suit, which
began in London's High Court today, seeks nearly 1.5 million pounds
in damages.

happening in Dallas on Feb. 26. The event, benefiting AmFAR, features
live, Internet and silent auctions of art by contemporary artists
from Robert Rauschenberg to Annie Leibovitz to Todd Oldham. The
live portion will be handled by Miss Stone in her now legendary

LOS ANGELES (Reuters) — A judge refused Monday to dismiss
hate crime charges against Veronica's Closet actor Wallace
Langham, who is accused of beating a gay man, despite an agreed-upon
six-figure civil settlement between Langham and the victim.
Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Stephen Marcus said a civil settlement
was not appropriate because the case involved a "fairly brutal attack"
and because Langham allegedly used slurs against the victim.
"This criminal conduct appears to be serious and not deserving
of a civil compromise," Marcus said in ordering Langham to stand
trial.
Langham, who plays Josh — a character with an ambiguous sexual
orientation — on the NBC-TV comedy about a lingerie mogul,
is accused of beating a stringer for the tabloid newspaper Star
during an altercation last Sept. 7.
The reporter, who was taken to a local hospital for a jaw injury
and bruises, has not been publicly named.
The 34-year-old actor, who is charged with one count of misdemeanor
battery and one count of committing a hate crime, had asked Marcus
to dismiss the case because he had agreed to a civil settlement.
Details of the settlement have not been made public, but sources
have told Reuters that Langham agreed to pay more than $100,000.
Langham's lawyer Harland Braun said Monday that Marcus should
drop the charges because of the settlement and because, he said,
Langham was unlikely to be involved in such an incident again.
But Los Angeles Deputy City Attorney Michael Pizzuti urged Marcus
to let the case go forward, and the judge agreed.
Langham's publicist says the altercation stemmed from offensive
remarks that the reporter allegedly made about Langham's girlfriend.
