me of a great party idea. Here it is:
A party guest goes into use the toilet. While in there he hears
lots of laughter outside. When he returns to the living room the
TV is on and is showing an overhead shot of the bathroom, now vacant
It dawns on the guy that everyone must have been watching him piss,
or whatever he did in the bathroom. He blushes bright red.
Actually, you had prepared a short videotape in the bathroom, before
the party. When he came out of the bathroom you were just showing
your previously recorded tape of an empty bathroom.
Well, perhaps you have heard of this before, but, if not, you may
want to try it sometime.

I«m feeling a little sad because I cant get trough :(
But anyway the reason why I wanted to call to you is that around
the world is a comprehension that Finland is very narrow minded
place. That«s not truth.
For example; my life is very open. I have friends that belong to
minorities like me but I also have friends that are heterosexuals
and that is making my life very colorfull and worth to live. I«m
not afraid to be me; if someone come and ask me if I«m a gay. I«ll
tell him that I am, in a way I«m proud of it :))
Of course there are things that I hope I could chance in my life,
I would really much want that my parents know who and what kind
of I really am. And that they approve me as that kind of person.
And comparing to others (gays like me) I«m in good position with
my job. I«m working in a call center of a mobile phone operator
and almost 25% of my colleagues are also gays. We have extremely
good atmosphere here. Everyone can be who they really are. We have
a little joke about our call center; we sometimes called it "gay
center"; and everyone here use it.. hetero sexuals too :))
But I will listen your show. And I hope that will here something
about you as soon as possible

Many of my friends, like Forge and Mika, has been mailing and talking
with you today. I have to admit, that their eagerness makes me smile
:)
But it's true, that in Finland sexual minorities are not standing
in same site as this heterosexual majority. Young people have to
fight for their rights to be what they want to be.
I was 14 when i told my mother that i'm lesbian. Since then i've
been frankly what i really am. All knows that i have girlfriend,
they can see us walking hand in hand in the streets, the can see
us kissing. It's been a long road, but now, in this point, i'm happy
i've done all that.
In Ircnet we 3 finnish channels, #fingay, #finbi and #finlesbo.
Your show and gaybc has become a great success among people in these
channels in IRC.

SUPER TUESDAY AND PROP 22 NOT PASSING IN
CALIFORNIA!

Rex,
A friend of mine referred your site to me to look around and I
must say that I love your site. As I went through your site, I noticed
a lot about "voting No for prop-22" I for one want to say that I
support you in this and that you did a good thing by posting it
on your cam the other day, so hands up to you. I live in South Carolina
and heard about the "prop-22" issue and think it is very WRONG that
California would even think about holding a vote like this. I feel
it's very wrong and the state is discriminating. I am curious as
to what Mr. and Mrs. Clinton thoughts are on this. I want to send
them a letter with my opinion expressing they should think this
whole matter over and make California and all of the other states
have "equal rights" which include the fact that gay marriages should
be recognized and be allowed. If you would like to add anything
in this letter that I would like to write please let me know, cause
I would really like to put it in, or if you think a letter is a
BAD idea please let me know as well. Thanks for taking the time
out of your busy schedule to read this email. I would really appreciate
any feed back that you might have for me.
I am writing in concern or a theory of thought about the Proposition
22 issue. I am not going to lie to you or anyone else. I had no
clue or even heard of "Proposition 22" until the other day. When
I heard about it on the local news I was shocked to even hear of
such a thing. I may just be way behind on my history of the "gay
laws", but umm…isnt this whole thing the state of California is
doing called "discrimination". The Proposition 22 is saying that
people do not and are not allowed EQUAL RIGHTS. Didn't we just go
through this years ago with Segregation with Blacks and White. We
now live in a desegregated Country where the Blacks and Whites have
the same right. The reason we stopped that was not because of their
skin but because they are human beings just like everyone else in
the world. The same thing SHOULD apply for gay men and women not
because they are "gay" but because they are human beings. What if
people came out and said that interracial marriages were illegal.
Not only would that be not right to do, but also it would be discriminating
against people. But we allow it cause they are human beings and
it would be discriminating against people if we did. Was it right
for him to kill all of the Jews? Hell NO cause they were human being
and should have had "equal rights". I went and read many newspaper
articles and read some "personal opinion" on an AOL chat poll and
was amazed at all of the support by some gay and non gay people.
Here are two of them that I really like and helped to say what my
point is

right before and it's not right now. Basically although I am not
gay, I still think that gays shoudl have the same rights as everyone
else.
These two letters helped me to contribute and write this letter.
I feel the same way these people do and think that there should
have never been a vote on prop-22. I think it is "discrimination"
again people and if it wasn't going to be such a hassle and cost
all of us "tax payers", those people who voted in favor of prop-22
should be sent to trial for discriminating against a person. I think
that is illegal and what prop-22 is illegal and should be banned.
I am a 19yr from South Carolina and this doesn't set a good example
to the "young people" of this world. A lot of my statement above
has to do with the fact that people are being "segregated, not given
equal rights, and being discriminated against. I feel that the state
of California should drop the whole issue and allow the marriages
of a human being no matter if they are black, white, blue, gay,
straight, or handicap. This matter should be sent to the White House
and they should tell California or any other state in this country
should have the right to ban marriages from anyone and that has
the rights to have "equal rights" as everyone else that lives here.
Thanks for taking the time to read this letter. Please vote yes
on this issue and make a stand for people and let them know that
we live in a "free country" and that we are suppose to be all treated
"equal" and the "same" as everyone else that lives here.

I don't listen to your show often, mainly due to the fact that
this old bucket of bolts of a machine of mine is such a piece of
crap. But I hope to have that resolved by the purchase or a new
Dell (I know...its a PC!) system. (Heck, I've got to have something
to spend my inheritance on!) However, for some reason, I thought
I'd drop in and try and listen last night and I'm glad I did. In
fact I tried repeatedly to call, but couldn't get through.
No doubt, that 'Gay Marriage/Prop 22' is a hot topic. But being
the non traditionalist (even from the 'gay' perspective) my take
on the whole thing is probably way off from most opinions that you
have heard before
I'm probably like most gay people growing up. Not fitting in, the
insecurties, yadda, yadda. My problem however, is that I've never
even seem to 'fit' into gay culture either. And this whole Gay Marriage
thing has seem to have put me even more out of the loop of things.
Don't get me wrong. I fully support that all committed couples should
have the same recognized benefits of traditional marriage. I know
I may be splitting hairs here, but to refer to a Union between same
sex couples as marriage is beyond my understanding. Considering
the majority of present day marriages (52%) end in divorce, why
would we want to model our union after a institution that is a complete
joke! Case in point. Who Wants to Marry a Millionaire! Just how
serious are we supposed to take this? The bigger question is where
was Laura Schlisenger (I refuse to refer to her as Dr. as we all
know she isn't one), Jerry Falwell, Pat Robertson, Jesse Helms,
Rev. Phelps ....adnauseam? It seems that as long as there is a penis
and a vagina involved, irregardless of the real dimension that the
institution is supposed to stand for, then its okay to make a complete
mochary of it.
The term marriage holds to many traditional values for me. Bride/Groom,
Man/Woman. Top/Bottom??? As I was trying to get through to you on
the phone last nite, as I was pacing around the room, I noticed
the Feb 29th issue of the Advocate on my coffee table. I had to
laugh out loud. These two couples, Melissa Etheridge, her partner
and those two 'wannabe' (wanna be what?? straight??) on the cover
look so rediculous in their traditional virginal (eek!) white attire.
I think I must be the first homophobic homo...
Our community (as factioned as it has become) has always been on
the cutting edge of breaking tradtion. The trend setters. Why do
we want to assimilate the straight definition of marriage?? Again,
I must repeat, I do support the legal protections/advantages that
the recognition of a Union by the government, provides.
Even
my so called 'straight' friends agree. The male/female couples I
know arn't into the traditional marriage thing either. But, I'm
going to follow up on a couple of things you mentioned last night
about the true definition of love. I don't know you at all, but
I sense that you don't have a 'traditional' take on love either.
Like you said, I love my friends in a way that supercedes mere friendship
(pansexual?) My true friends (gay/straight/whatever) and I have
a much deeper bond that is difficult to put into words. And, some
of us have taken measures that protect ourselves legally when it
comes right down to the nitty gritty. You see, it wasn't until the
death of my Dad that I realized that simply because a couple is
married that everything is just hunky dory. The government is going
to have their piece no matter what. However, my family was smart
enough to have done some very aggressive Estate planning. My friends
have set up Revocable Trusts, Limited Power of Attorney, and (I
forget the correct term) a way for us to make medical decisions
for the others. None of us want any heroic life extending measures
either, so we've all signed Living Wills with a DNR (do no resusitate)
clause.
Even the sensual/sexual side of my/our relationships is non traditional.
To us a 'dick in a hole' is passe. It has become a very erotic,
almost spiritual experience of body celebration.... and its the
best damn 'sex' I've ever had..but I regress. (Am I called whats
now referred to as being 'post-gay'??? Is 38 to young/old to be
post gay??)
I sometimes think that the true message is lost in spite of just
wanting to be "in your face" about it. Yeah, I know, I'm not politically
correct. I never have been, I don't apologize for it, and I sure
don't win any popularity contests.
I don't even know if this will get your attention, but thanks for
letting me vent..

First
of all... It took more than your two blonde brain cells to create
this concept so don't you dare forget me!
That said, PANSEXUAL...all encompassing, all embracing...all accepting.
It is a label free zone as it recognizes that sexuality is a continuum...and
that truly singularly hetero or homosexual people make of a very
small number. Rather, we all lie somewhere in the middle. If you
have had same sex dreams...thoughts...experiences... All these things
put you somewhere in the continuum.
For the person who said the term PANSEXUAL was merely an excuse...I
say damn right! And you should open your critical mind and let people
use that excuse they need to feel comfortable! :) (This said with
much love of course)
What should our motto be? I still like FUCK em ALL!! but you must
share in that cynical sense of humor with us!
Pansexual should be open to experiencing anything that is comfortable
to the people involved. However, I do not advocate pain, be it physical
or emotional or otherwise unless it is requested or accepted on
the involved parties' part. This is to say as a pansexual, I am
open to hearing about it (with previous stipulation)although I may
not engage in it personally. If I claim pansexual and do not want
labels or judgment then I must grant the same courtesy to others.
Make sense? Some may argue this point but I stand firm here. If
you inflict harm or others unwilling, it is NOT about sex, it is
about something else. (power issues?)
PAN is a fun, mischievous, slightly deviant sexual creature (musical
too). So the concept of PANSEXUAL has to be about fun and frolic....(some
people forget that sex is fun!! This is a reminder!) :) he hee
