a nite of home-made sPlit-pea soup.. kozmo moVies..
it wHas a tHeme of seXy serial killers.. with the watcher
and american pHycho.. i think these kind of moVies support
the habbit of ignorin' cute guys or else they might
kill you.. course.. i never have had or heard of that
habit.. but some of those dead victems from the moVies
last nite.. could have picked up that one..heh! .. eVen
though kenou is cute.. and didnt have to talk much in
the watcher.. and figured elaines hairdresser wHas still
in business with tHat lead lady doctor chick.. heh!
.. i did enjoy and wHas pulled into american pHycho..
i love the 80's.. and mann.. the clothin' .. hair..
sets.. at-tit-tude.. wHas like perfect.. the lead man..

dentist dosed her with something that she shouldnt of
had or something.. but anywHays.. i dragged hiM. up
the hill promising hiM. he will feel REALLY good about
tHis.. and tHat his soup wHas healin'.. and wHat a WONDERFUL
thing to do..for someone siCk.. and he kinda bought
all tHat ....but not until i said we would be soon sacked
out on the couch of sHame with desert and another hunky
serial killer in front of us.. a sMile for his "un-eVil"
deeds seeped tHrough.. i think at that point.. and he
threatened to kill me if i even mentioned that he did
"un-eVil" deeds.. but i wRote it off on a
tummy full of sPlit - pea bitchen while goin' up a hill..
at least i hope it wHas.. because.. if not.. well..

to beD. and left geNe to pull out the soFa and watch

i had pulled out my records and started playin' some
of my very reX. o-clectRic tunes..around the caSa..
introducin' mZ. coSmos to the faVorite tunes of beloved
daDDy..

didnt have
to use the same language i used for mZ. coSmos.. for
eVil geNe this morn.. but we sipped coFFy as i played
off some reX. o-clectRic tunes.. and wHas pleased to
sCare him with memories of a car-trip family tune with
"wolverton mountian" by cLaude kinG.. heh!
.. i got a little teary-eyed from singing "el paSo"
by marTy roBBins to kiTTy.. (she is my number one faN
wHen it comes to reX.-song!) we do wonderful duets..
sHe got down to "roSe garden" and showed her
moVes with lYnn aNderson.. geNe and i busted up laughin'
to "a boy named sue" .. johnny casH.. and
a deVish sMile came to his faCe wHen "big baD.
joHn" .. played.. (you ... soooo... eVil!)
i love wakin'
up on the weekend like this.. sunsHIne on the couch
of sHame.. hot coFFy.. cRust in the eYes.. sCary bedhead..
the kiTTs.. my cRazy reCords or tunes.. and some buddy
to ramble about some sTory or another.. it's a morning
which rituals that it includes.. makes for a wonderful
day.. and havent had this feeling in awhile.. it wHas
magic just changing the switch on the sTereo to "phono"
.. and found tHat this is important to me somehow..
and shouldnt be left to collect dust in the future for
too long..
after we
charged up with coFFy geNe left and i had bRunch at
fLippers.. with this dude maRk from LA who is writing
a screenplay about webcammers... i have met with hiM.
a couple times.. as he has interviewed me.. and i am
reading some of his ideas.. and helping hiM. answer
some questions he has.. it's an interesting plot.. which
i will not say ANYTHING about right now.. cause.. you
know.. it's his bag and creation .. and im supportin'
hiM. in that.. and it's gonna be cool to see how it
all becomes a reality with a script and plot.. already
he has pulled in my interest with a short opening chapter..
scene.. whatever they are called..heh! .. it's a cool
project non the less and inspires me to wRite more..
to be around hiM. so .. tHus.. you are blessed with
a wonderful bRain barf.. tonite.. luCky you! .. :)
i have aCTually
taken some "raMble" notes durin' the week
of last.. and hope to get them collected to post.. eVen
if they are just a list .. or part thoughts.. or notes..
they are sTuff that goes through my mind that influences
.. or makes me think durring the day.. they can be anything
from very important.. life changin' kind of things..
right down to "awwwwh.. guess wHat eliZa did today?
.." kinda sMear.. heh! .. it's interesting to go
through them.. and as i have organized my ramBles links
lately and fixEd them.. i apprciate even the notes i
have left for me.. eVen if no-one else gets them.. i
remember tHat boy who wRote down that number on that
matchbook.. and gave it to me before he left.. and even
though i may not even call the dude.. just kinda capturin'
a moment or thought brings you back to that eX.perience
that you might just forget with tiMe..
so i wRite..
and hope to keep wRiting more in my liFe.. with the
neW CAMradio happenin' real soon.. i will get plenty
of that .. with two new shows.. and working with programing..
but today
wasnt really about worK.. it started as a creative daY
with a little eVil.. and then progressed into inspiration
at bRunch.. and then i need to actually concieve something..
so i sat down and started a .. yep.. you have heard
it before.. "reX. o-cletric" taPe.. with all
those cRazy tunes.. i have been turnin' the table for..
i felt so.. umm.. high-school in a way.. or so .. last
century.. dont people have CDR's now and skip all this
shit im doin'.. and download eVerything on the web..?
.right to tHeir CDR's and powo.. cRisp clear oo's and
11's for your listenin' pleasure.. ! ..
but tHen
again.. if that is wHat eVerybody wHas doin'.. tHen
wHat i wHas doin' .. would be a little more.. sPecial..
i made sure..
to include on my tape the sound of the record needle
coming down.. the first crackle.. and tHen niCk.e..
and the antisipated.. sound of HI-FI fidelity which
has conditioned me to love eVery skip.. crackle and
niCk.e .. tHose were the added qualitiees to this particular
record.. like the sign cancer i beleive.. each molded..
but unique to it's own.. reCords are roMantic.. they
take time.. tHey are not convenant.. they are big..
and you get a bigger visual laptrash..
to me.. tHey
are somehow essential to the liFe and liVing at the
caSa de reX. and the sounds heard there.. and i missed
them.. didnt know how much till tHis morning wHen playin'
a little "led zeplin" .. and reX. sit's down
and looks at some old piX. to the haunting haightstreet
howl of "climbling the sTairwHay to heven"!

" a year later" becomes more sooner tHan i
really feel comfortable with..

earth.. not a glam place at all .. motorcycle bikes

scare you.. it can be an adventure there .. with quite
a cool blend of folks.. some nites are really dead..
but then you have a chance perhaps to meet someone..

run a club on thurs that i should go to more often than

nites they have sugar which is a popular smaller dance
nite.. miXed crowd.. normal sorts.. from out of town
mostly because its the weekend..

faVorite sWeater to wear and some good sHOes.. im kinda
retarded in there with my sNeaks.. heh! . and if your
around there.. one of my faVorite bars is the zodiac
rooM. right accross the street from saFewHay.. it's
not super gaY.. but of course its san francisco so eVEryone
is cross-platformed..heh! .. i like em' cause you can
have a great dinner in an intimate spot with your guests..
or go to the small bar and start talking to someone..
plus you find out what sign your chef or bartendar is
when ordering.. from a delicious menu of atrological
signed drinks.. the saGGie is more than i can bare..
but love the sCorpio.. heh! .. nice lemon dRops for
free if you have a cute gurl cHick who flirts with the
bartendar..heh! ..

valley hang outs include.. momi tobi's.. and fritz..
two cool coffy shops.. and sometimes.. fliPPers.. the
hayes valley hamburger joint.. mmm.. speakin' of food
in hayes valley .. we also have poWells .. soulfood..
wHere the maYor may be smackin' his lipps next to you..
or moShie's chicago deli.. tHeir hot pastrami with sWiss
is to die for.. heh! .. tHere's eVen marlena's .. the
dRag fag bar next to flippers if you want to see some
49'er dRag queen fans ..yip and hollar and shiver outside
sMoking inthe cold.. how does she get her nips to poke
out like that? .. heh! i love hayes valley.. tons of
cool shops and gallerys .. too.. and .. lots of dudes
.. this aRea is hopin'! total diversity ..and hair styles..
artists.. yuppies.. skater dudes.. internet hackers..

else.. not a queer spot.. (but then again.. it's sf..
) but a cool sf spot i love to go to .. is coit toWer..
the garden path up there from battery street is the
wHay to go.. very beautiful walk.. caTTs.. gardens..
flowers.. up these cool stAirs.. then you get to coit
toWer.. and the view of the bay .. the golden gate holding
back the oCean pacific.. and alcatraz.. just floatin'
there.. i feel very "sf" when im up there..
tHere's also my faVorite statue in the whole city in
front of coit toWer.. and if you look at it at this
one anGle.. it takes on a whole new meaning..heh! ..
so walk around it .. if you end up there.. and take
a closer look at that stoned guy overlooking the bay..you
will laugh your head off.. coit toWer overlooks norTh
beach.. which for italian food.. or coffy shops.. and
culture.. you would emerce yourself in it.. and the
yummy hairy chested italian waiters.. dRooool.. makes
you want to become a beatnic.. :)

eX.perience is the mission.. get there before all the
dot.(goners?).. kick out all of the cool artists and
latino influence.. this is where the heart and the heat
of the city come from.. anything funky found.. can be
found in the mission.. some great little theatres over
there like rinocerous.. theatre rHino.. runs alot of
gay themed plays.. and small enuff to let you talk to
new people about the "pLot" durring intermission
without feeling like you need a written invite..

guess i do know what what i like..the list could go
on .. as i have lived here for about 15 years now..
but sf .. is a great city to eX.plore.. and love to
walk her streets and just let her take me to her next
destination... i love my walk to castro everyday to
get my mail.. walk by the mint on the hill .. and see
the twin peaks tower lookin' like the top of a giant
boat .. hidden in the fog..
heh! ..i
guess im a little romantic still about my city.. hope
