koolcaM. had reCently posted a sLam asking wHEre wHas reX.'s ranTs on gaybc.. ? others also are still asking that.. and i neVer made an offical announcement or response.. you kinda try and avoid it wHen your layed off.. but with my life being on line and stuff ... tHeres no wHay to just brush it under the rug.. so i know alot of unoffical sTories have been floatin' around... and eVil has his own eX.periences.. and posted something tHat i wanted to reply to .. to sTate wHere i am with gaybc.. and wHat has happened.. tHIs may not eX.palin eVery little detail.. but then again.. i really dont feel that i need to eX.press those things at this time.. read on koolcaM..and others who wonder.. and you will see wHY..

tHere are plenty of unoffical sTories im sure goin' around.. and alot of circomstances..
i haD. an incredable time working at gaybc.. alot of positive things happened.. and i learned so much from the actual sHow.. it became my passion.. as my work always does..
offically from me.. and what gaybc had annoucned.. yes.. gaybc was
losing funding to have a full funtcion station as it wHas prevously
running... we were goin' to go off the air.. but then we tried a
teletHOn.. SOS save our sTation .. and after the teletHOn .. alot
of us just waited.. not just the gaybc staff and it's talent but
it's listeners..we wanted to know if we succeeded...
eNough moNey wHas raised to keep the barebone operations going and only could keep a few of the talents and thier shows..alot of people left gaybc or shows where put on hiatis...reX.'s ranTs wHas one of those sHows tHat went "bYe-bYe!" and wHen eX.plained part of the reason why they cut reX.'s ranTs is because they could not get a producer.. or studio engeenier to work with me at my time slot .. and since i wHas remote.. we needed tHat and they just didnt have the resources.. wHen i wHas layed off they said they hoped sometime begining in the new year that they could re-hire. reCently i haVe been hearing the familar voice of jeFF calley! .. and so glad to hear he is back in some form.. i hope this means that gaYbc is getting back on it's feet again..
i dont have really any communication with gaybc other then .. tuning in..
right beFore and around the telethon.. .. things were a little wierd.. with communication i had with gaYbc.. im not gonna go into details .. cause it doesnt do any good really now to go relive this stuff..i gotta let go of some stuff to be able to move to my fuTure.. besides i have gaundi right behind me.. heh! . got to watch it.. or he will make me stop eating! .. LOL!
bad things.. good things.. they are all included in my eX.periences there. at .gaybc.. like any job.. but am really focusing on the wonderful stuff i learned and the worldwide GLBT community i really discovered..by talking with each other .. opening up.. eX.pressing our opinions.. even if they didnt jive with eVEryone elses.. diVersity wHas celebrated.. it took blinders off this funky sf dude..
anyhew.. dont know where you might hear my voice in the future at gaybc.. right now it doesnt look too promosing.. and that is alright too.. i take my good eX.periences .. learned.. evolve into something else.. tHat is the path of the reX.alope.. heh! . tHere are some projects up my sleeve.. and some planning that i have done.. and yes.. i plan to be part of the webcam raDio broadcast and do what i can to get that going ..
so tHere.. tHat's the final sTory.. and yah.. theRe's a hell of a lot more details..but im sure .. you can go out and find tons of "unoffical" stories to fill them in.. im too foCused on the future to haVe anything dRag me down...
and mann... eVen though im not there right now at gaybc doing reX.'s ranTs.. im there in sPirit.. and hoping it surVives.. our community need this type of communication.. it woke me up.. and hope to do my best to still make it my job to provide that vehicle for communication..
