don't know how important your radio shows are to me! They help me
so much and have helped me thru some rough times! I know you are
busy and rarely reply to emails but I just wanted to let you know
that you ARE doing good for me and I'm sure lots of other gay guys!
It is so hard for me to be a gay boye living in the midwest! My
city only has a pop of 10,000 people and there aren't any HUGE towns
really close, so It is really tough for me! I have only accepted
that I am truely gay since I started visiting your site and listening
to rants. My next step is coming out. I don't know when I'll get
up the courage to do that, but I know I need to! I would be so much
happier! I just wanted you to know that You are very important to
me. I don't think you get nearly enough praise for what you do!

peeve: in rex's rants, to make a long story short, you have to many
typos! I don't mean upper and lower case!
At any rate, I guess Evil is a friend of yours, or acquaintance
and who the hell is Dr. Laura? I know the Pope had something to
say, but I never heard it or could care less. The 'Church' is full
of shit and is nothing but a control mechanism redundant from before
the middle ages. All religion is garbage. It has too much political
and moral power. Tell me, would you believe anything in a book written
over 2000 years ago and try to live the same way they did? We are
not sheep herders, merchants or fishermen or whores. My impression
is this, if 'they' say God made everything on this planet, then
God must have loved it enough to give it life. Hence the only abomination
is mankind. Man believes God talks to him and says "sure, go kill
the guy across the street because he is different." Mankind is the
only species capable of hatred. Hatred enough to carry it through
the centuries to our siblings, to kill one another because of our
differences. Somewhere in the Bible it says we (Gays) are an abomination.
I have never cared to look it up because Man wrote the bible, not
'God'. They drank swill out of lead and pewter cups back then! No
wonder they were seeing things!
So many cultures, so many beliefs, so many Gods. Who introduced
us to God, and why did we need to believe in God, or god's to become
a 'civilized' world? When we speak of God, what or who do you think
of? Do you instantly associate God with the Pope? or the Queen?
No doubt you associate religion with a person, a man, someone who
has sworn to uphold the name of the lord and spread the word of
Christianity or Judaism or other fanatic religions. They are every
bit as human as the rest of us and why should we trust them any
more than someone you walk past in the street? We put religious
leaders high up, in control, amidst the opulence and grandeur of
a King while we peons praise the human form of God. The Pope is
nothing more than a man. The RC church is nothing more than a little
kingdom enjoyed by the wealthy, as with any religion or pagan belief,
someone is always 'better' than the rest. Religion subjugates and
delegates and puts the masses in their place. If there wasn't control,
there would be chaos, therefore we were introduced to 'God', who
would punish us with death, disease and hairy palms. The big guy
we can not see, feel or touch, but believe in so fiercely we are
terrified and conform. God, the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost
~ that just about sums up every realm of existence we believe in.
If God exists by every one of us, why do the Catholics believe
they must confess to a priest? Why use a middle man? Why - so you
can be punished. When do people pray? When they need something.
Religion is control. I was raised an Anglican, and the head of the
Anglican church is the Queen of England. King James changed the
Bible to suit his needs, so he could divorce his wives rather than
behead them. Nice gesture. So, if we as Anglicans allow divorce,
imagine how the bible has been edited over and over and over to
suit the madmen of the era who controlled the people and the religious
sect
I believe in something better than all of us, but it will never
be mankind.
This, obviously is only my opinion. I am not a theologian and have
no interest in researching the holy scriptures to prove my point.
TV Evangelists are definitely EVIL. Look who takes from the poor
and has the most prime real-estate in the world, priceless artifacts,
the last word. Every city, borough, village, small town has a church
or temple. And the more money you have, the higher up you go on
the religious ladder. Talk about MLM!!!

Hi Rex,
h your site, I noticed a lot about "voting No for prop-22" I for
one want to say that I support you in this and that you did a good
thing by posting it on your cam the other day, so hands up to you.
I live in South Carolina and heard about the "prop-22" issue and
think it is very WRONG that California would even think about holding
a vote like this. I feel it's very wrong and the state is discriminating.
I am curious as to what Mr. and Mrs. Clinton thoughts are on this.
I want to send them a letter with my opinion expressing they should
think this whole matter over and make California and all of the
other states have "equal rights" which include the fact that gay
marriages should be recognized and be allowed. If you would like
to add anything in this letter that I would like to write please
let me know, cause I would really like to put it in, or if you think
a letter is a BAD idea please let me know as well. Thanks for taking
the time out of your busy schedule to read this email. I would really
appreciate any feed back that you might have for me.
I am writing in concern or a theory of thought about the Proposition
22 issue. I am not going to lie to you or anyone else. I had no
clue or even heard of "Proposition 22" until the other day. When
I heard about it on the local news I was shocked to even hear of
such a thing. I may just be way behind on my history of the "gay
laws", but umm…isnt this whole thing the state of California is
doing called "discrimination". The Proposition 22 is saying that
people do not and are not allowed EQUAL RIGHTS. Didn't we just go
through this years ago with Segregation with Blacks and White. We
now live in a desegregated Country where the Blacks and Whites have
the same right. The reason we stopped that was not because of their
skin but because they are human beings just like everyone else in
the world. The same thing SHOULD apply for gay men and women not
because they are "gay" but because they are human beings. What if
people came out and said that interracial marriages were illegal.
Not only would that be not right to do, but also it would be discriminating
against people. But we allow it cause they are human beings and
it would be discriminating against people if we did. Was it right
for him to kill all of the Jews? Hell NO cause they were human being
and should have had "equal rights". I went and read many newspaper
articles and read some "personal opinion" on an AOL chat poll and
was amazed at all of the support by some gay and non gay people.
Here are two of them that I really like and helped to say what my
point is….

These two letters helped me to contribute and write this letter.
I feel the same way these people do and think that there should
have never been a vote on prop-22. I think it is "discrimination"
again people and if it wasn't going to be such a hassle and cost
all of us "tax payers", those people who voted in favor of prop-22
should be sent to trial for discriminating against a person. I think
that is illegal and what prop-22 is illegal and should be banned.
I am a 19yr from South Carolina and this doesn't set a good example
to the "young people" of this world. A lot of my statement above
has to do with the fact that people are being "segregated, not given
equal rights, and being discriminated against. I feel that the state
of California should drop the whole issue and allow the marriages
of a human being no matter if they are black, white, blue, gay,
straight, or handicap. This matter should be sent to the White House
and they should tell California or any other state in this country
should have the right to ban marriages from anyone and that has
the rights to have "equal rights" as everyone else that lives here.
Thanks for taking the time to read this letter. Please vote yes
on this issue and make a stand for people and let them know that
we live in a "free country" and that we are suppose to be all treated
"equal" and the "same" as everyone else that lives here.
