Crying over my cat...
Rex,
I'm writing
you because I know how much your cats mean to you and
that's how
much mine meant to me. I had to have mine put down today
at 415pm, its a
decision that I never wanted to make but because she's
been sick for quite
sometime now and there weren't any medicines that could
make her better I had
to do it. Its the hardest thing I've ever had to do
and now I can't stop
crying. She was my best friend for the past 11 yrs.
I got her right after I
move here from NY and she's been with me the whole time.
None of my friends
are pet owners and can't understand how I feel. I came
home and had to clean
up things and put away the pet carrier and litter box
and collect her toys
from around the house. I'm beside myself with grief,
is this crazy or what?
What's more crazy is why I decided to e-mail you. I've
e-mail you a couple
times in the past but not about anything special. I
guess just writing to
someone who can kinda understand what I'm going through
makes it a bit
easier. My kitties name is Whiskers and she is a Himalayan.
She has the
most beautiful blue eyes you've ever seen. She is always
at the front door
whenever I come home day or night and is like a shadow
following me all
around the house. I can't believe that she isn't going
to be with me
anymore. I know that its going to take time to get past
this. Before moving
here I had never lived on my own and I got her shortly
after. She has been
the only constant thing in my life since being on my
own. Well, I don't
expect anything from you, I just felt that writing a
little might take away
some of the pain I'm feeling and felt you could understand.

it's been almost a year since ePs made her passage..
in two more days .. it's been haunting me.. and know
eX.actely what you are going through.. hang on to her..
she will always be with you.. and it will be hard to
not have her with you .. but it's a huge lesson we learn
about mortality and makin' sure that we appriciate eVery
moment of our lifes.. it's a hard lesson in life to
let go and let them make thier passage.. i went to a
place i call the wood.. a spiritual place i created
where i can hold her.. and she can lick my noSe.. and
do eVerything we did.. it all might seem a little crazy..
but doesnt any relilgion really.. ? ..it's all faith
my fRiend.. and what we believe.. i prepared her to
go there.. i put her there in the woods so i would never
lose her.. and she would always be with me..
i know it's
not the same as having her physically there.. and mann..
im cRyin' with you.. cause even a year later im sTill
feeling it.. and wish time wouldnt rush so fast.. your
email came at a very critical time and did it ever pinpoint
the feelings i have been havin' lately.. all weekend
i felt her..
please mann..
keep or create whatever faith you have.. and keep her
close always.. my thoughts are definately with you and
yours.. and will tell my ePs to help wHiskers with her
passage to wHere-ever she may go.. imagine them playin'
together in the woods.. heh! ..
be sTrong..
